Twenty-one gorillas have been created at the zoo since the starting of The Honda African-american Rainfall Woodlands in 1988. Kali and Kazi, a unique set of twin babies, were created at Zoo The atlanta area on Oct 31, 2005.
Zoo The atlanta area also continues to be house to children of its best-known gorilla, Willie B. (ca. 1959-2000). The zoo is also house to five of Willie B.'s grandchildren: Macy Baby (2005) and Happy Leigh (2011), created to Kudzoo; Gunther (2006) and Anaka (2013), created to Sukari; and Andi (2013), created to Lulu.
The Living Treehouse is extra time of The Honda African-american Rainfall Woodlands developed in 2004. The display homes an aviary of African-american parrots, as well as black-and-white ruffed lemurs and ring-tailed lemurs, with nearby environments for Angolan colobus apes,drills, Schmidt's guenons, and Wolf's guenons.
Boundless Budgies: A Parakeet Adventure
Opened in Apr 2009, Endless Budgies homes free-flying parakeets which visitors are allowed to hand-feed.
Trader's Street and Complicated Carnivores
Opened truly, Trader's Alley: Wildlife's Diminishing Foot prints is targeted on varieties suffering from the worldwide wild creatures business. Lun Lun (female) and Yang (male) visited The atlanta area as juveniles in 1999 and live at the zoo on loan from China suppliers. The pair's first cub, men Mei Lan, was created on Sept 6, 2006. A second cub, men Xi Lan, was created Aug 30, 2008. Women Po was created Nov 3, 2010. Po's name was declared by acting professional Port Dark in 2011; Po was known as after Black's personality in the DreamWorks movies Kung Fu Panda. As of Sept 2014, Mei Lan, Xi Lan and Po live at the Chengdu Research Platform of Giant Panda Reproduction in China suppliers.
A 4th and a fifth cub, both female,created This summer 15, 2013, were the first double pandas to be created in the U.S. since 1987. Their titles were declared on ABC's Good Morning hours The united states on Oct 23, 2013; 100 days after their beginning, which is a China custom. What they are are Mei Lun and Mei Huan.

The Oriental Woodlands is set in the jungles of Japan and homes Oriental small-clawed otters, massive otters, Reeves's muntjac, sun holds, Komodo mythical beasts, Sumatran tigers, massive pandas and red pandas, as well as Bornean orangutans and Sumatran orangutans.
The Orangutan Learning Shrub Venture, released at Zoo The atlanta area in 2007, uses in-habitat touchscreen technological innovation technology to allow orangutans to get in computer questions, activities and problem-solving workouts while visitors notice their actions on a connected notice.
The Realm of Reptiles
The Zoo The atlanta area herpetology division controls more than 450 reptiles and amphibians comprising over 100 varieties, though because of the size of the Realm of Reptiles display developing, not all of these creatures can currently be shown. The zoo is the only zoological organization to actually type Arakan forest turtles, a seriously vulnerable varieties collected nearly to annihilation for food and conventional medicinal practises. Construction started in 2013 on Scaly Slimy Spectacular: The Amphibian and Reptile Experience, changed the Realm of Reptiles. The display opened in 2015.
Outback Place Children’s Zoo
Zoo Atlanta's Outback Place homes Australia wild creatures, such as red kangaroos, Major Mitchell's cockatoos, and southeast cassowary. The stroking zoo is house to Saanen goat's, Oberhasli goat's, Southdown babydoll lambs, Beach Shore lambs, Nigerian small goat's, and a kunekune pig.
